Started in a flat above a bookshop, 2019
Stellarion began when two former planetarium technicians, Ines Marlow and Dario Penn, started prototyping reel animations as a way to unwind after long shifts. They liked the motion, the colour, the little moment of alignment โ and disliked everything that usually got bolted onto it.
So they kept the calm and removed the cost. By 2021 the prototype had become Astral Alignment, and the studio had moved from a flat in Tallinn to a tiny office near the harbour. Today we're a remote-first team of seven across three time zones, still making things we'd want to play ourselves.
Everything we ship is free, stake-free, and built to be put down as easily as it's picked up.
